The Turtle Reef air conditioned coach will take you on a half island tour, complete with on-board commentary. Relax as we head out of town on a journey that will take us past several local villages and various sightseeing highlights. We are bound for Havannah Harbour in North Efate, to board Vanuatu's largest Glass Bottom Boat for a true Adventure Cruise.

Turtle Reef takes you to a place where time stands still and local villagers from adjacent islands still paddle their outrigger canoes. We cruise through the pristine water of Havannah Harbour to our own protected coral reef, home to a wide variety of living corals and many colourful, tropical fish. Jump in to the crystal clear water for some of Vanuatu's best snorkeling. Try our new 'EasyBreathe' snorkeling mask or look through the windows of our spacious Glass Bottom Boat as we slowly cruise over our remarkable coral garden. Keep an eye out for the endangered Hawksbill Turtle or local Dugongs.

After snorkeling, come back on board for more scenic cruising to an untouched,  Coconut fringed beach  - a perfect place for little children to swim. Watch our crew climb a coconut tree and taste fresh coconut or wander over and talk to local Mama's, from surrounding islands, who come to this beach every day to wash their clothes in the natural spring water.

After more cool cruising, we arrive at 12.30pm at Havannah Harbour's famous Wahoo Bar and Restaurant - just in time for lunch. The 'Wahoo' earns consistently high reviews on Trip Advisor and you will have one hour to soak up this idyllic waterfront location.

 

Loved by Vanuatu locals, this restaurant prides itself on fresh local seafood and organic Vanuatu beef. Choose a Malekula Mud Crab or a whole fresh Poulet Fish. Try the organic Vanuatu Rib Eye, locally caught lobsters or a sumptuous Curry featuring locally grown Teouma Prawns. Not really hungry? Fresh Tuna Sashimi, 1/2 rack of Pork Ribs and Sesame Seed Prawns are just some of their popular Entrees. Or maybe just snack on a 500 Vatu bowl of hot chips.

 

Lunch is NOT included in the tour price so it's up to you - choose a snack or a main meal or perhaps just go for another swim.

At 1.30pm it is time to re-board the Turtle Reef bus and to say goodbye to unforgettable Havannah Harbour. You will arrive back at your cruise ship in Port Vila around 2.30pm with an abundance of photos and a lifetime of memories.  Bring a towel and some reef shoes if you have them. Fins, snorkels and different styles of snorkeling masks are all provided.

• Alcoholic drinks (available to purchase). Minimum age is 18 years.

• Lunch at the Wahoo Bar & Restaurant. This is at your own expense. Meals range in price from 500 Vatu (USD $5) to 5,000 Vatu (USD $50). Average price is 2,800 Vatu (USD $28) for main course.
